Three men every single girl should stay away from (Part 2) - Magdalene Nganga Joseph

Three men every single girl should stay away from (Part 1) - Magdalene Nganga Joseph

Magdalene Nganga Joseph is back on her MJ Diary with part 2 of the Three men every single girl should stay away from. Read below, comment and share with your friends.

She knew it. Her husband had a mistress. She had always known. But she did not believe in giving up on people. She believed she could make him change. He had said he would change, and She believed him. Of course, he did change.

For the worse. He spent more time with his mistress than he did at home. And even when he was at home, neither she nor her children had his attention. He spent more on his mistress than on any other thing. He didn't pay the children's fees or support them in any way. He rarely cared If there was food at home, after all, he rarely ate at home.

Occasionally, he remembered home, acted all nice and sweet, bought lots of gifts for her and the kids, and showered them love and attention. He would apologize for everything, and would promise to change. But his facade never lasted beyond two days.

He would go right back to first base. He would come home with the stench of his mistress. He would throw up around the house, on the cushion, on the bed, and on the floor. He would leave empty and sometimes, broken bottles in the wake of his drunkenness.

Yes. Her husband was a chronic alcoholic, hooked to the bottle. She had known. She had always known. But he said he would change. And he never did. She suffered it all. She was tired of it all. She was only staying for the children. She felt crushed. She felt defeated.

Her husband is one man every single sister should avoid.

The alcoholic.

I won't blame a woman if her husband turns to the bottle after years of marriage probably due to whatever issues he feels he cannot handle without alcohol.

But you, sister, who is single and searching and who thinks 2016 mistress not pass you single, if you open your two eyes and marry a drunk because you think he'll give up the bottle for you, or that "he will change with time", you're entirely on your own - OYO.

There is no doubt that you'll have some beautiful and oh-em-gee moments together when he is lucid. But, truth be told, he'll always put his drinking before you and the family, and a huge part of his paycheck will be "coban" - dedicated to the bottle. As the Nigerian musician Pepenazi would say, he won't care if his pockets are empty. He'll always want another one for the road.

In addition, no matter how much he claims to love you, he'll do so many hurtful things to you, he say hurtful things, and might even abuse you physically or sexually, and he will ALWAYS blame it on his drinking. You are too beautiful, too unique, too amazing to subject yourself to all of that.

I believe in the power of change. But if he isn't already trying to change himself by himself, if he isn't trying to get help, don't be fooled into thinking you can make him change.

P.S. Please note that although alcoholism is primarily discussed here, it applies to all forms of addiction as well, including drug and gambling problems.
