Watch ESPN's touching tribute to Chris Fowler

A new era of College GameDay began Saturday in Fort Worth, as Rece Davis took over for longtime show host Chris Fowler.

Fowler had been the face of GameDay since 1990, but is transitioning to a play-by-play role, and will call the Alabama-Wisconsin game from the booth alongside Kirk Herbstreit Saturday night. On the first episode of GameDay without Fowler running the show, ESPN aired an emotional tribute to one of its most underrated personalities.
